Numbat ostomy bandage with hole
- to prevent or hold an existing hernia
The smooth inside of the stoma neoprene bandage connects immediately with the skin, takes on body temperature and can no longer be felt. The ostomy bandage does not slip and has very soft seams. The outside of the neoprene bandage is coated with fabric.
With the Numbat without a hole, the ostomy bag is folded so that the smooth neoprene inside has contact with the skin all around. Your ostomy bag can still fill up and will remain fixed until the weight becomes too heavy and the bag slowly slides down.
The numbat with hole can be worn to prevent or hold a hernia, but should then be chosen very tight!

The stoma neoprene bandage is closed with an adjustable Velcro fastener on the back. Lateral closure, or double-sided coating with fabric possible on request with extra charge!
Bandage without hole:
Measure the circumference of the abdomen at the level of the stoma. Refer to: "Bandage stretchable up to max.*"
Bandage with hole:
Measure the circumference at the level of the stoma. Note that once you cut the hole, the bandage will stretch about 5 cm more.
